With over 45 years of experience in orthodontics, I have dedicated my career to contributing and helping create confident, healthy smiles. I am passionate about the transformative power of orthodontic care, and I find joy in seeing the life-changing impact it has on patients. I have a wonderful husband, two grown children, 3 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren, and 1 on the way.

Julie Blauw

Digital Lab and Operations Manager

Protocol is my middle name, and inspecting the elements is my game! With 27 years of experience in multiple facets of the orthodontic practice, I’ve learned it’s all in the details. My passion is creating an unparalleled patient experience through a superior product. The best weekends are spent antiquing, playing in the dirt at Pikes, and snuggling with my schnauzer. Aroo!

Luann Pickering

Ordering and Compliance Officer

I have been assisting in beautiful smiles since the early 80s. Currently, I am in charge of the safety of our patients and staff by heading up our OSHA program. I also keep everyone in supplies necessary for daily tasks at all of our 5 locations. When not working, I enjoy traveling to see my family and grandkids, or playing with my 3 fur babies.

Nancy Votta

Marketing Coordinator

Nancy Votta is the Director of Marketing for Atlanta Orthodontic Specialists. She joined the team in 2003, back when there were just two office locations, and has loved being part of AOS’s growth to five offices and five orthodontists. Nancy enjoys connecting with patients and families, sharing the AOS story, and helping people feel right at home from their very first visit. Outside of work, she is married with two grown children and five grandchildren, who keep life fun and full of joy.

Ann Durden

Clinical Lead

I’ve been in the orthodontic field for over 30 years. I’m passionate about building patient relationships, training, and mentoring clinical teams. I love spending time with my family, traveling, and hot yoga.

Ginny O’Buck

Administrative Lead

With nearly ten years of experience at AOS, I have most enjoyed seeing how technology has improved and how complex cases have been transformed both cosmetically and functionally. I grew up in East Cobb and graduated from the University of Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching, attending sporting events, and spending time with family.

Sam Benitez

Treatment Coordinator Lead

With nearly 15 years of experience in orthodontics, Samantha is committed to making every patient feel comfortable, confident, and well-informed throughout their treatment. As a treatment coordinator, she specializes in clearly presenting treatment plans, helping patients understand their options, coordinating schedules, and guiding them through the financial process with care and attention to detail.

Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys traveling, staying active with her husband and their dog, and spending time cheering on their favorite sports teams.
