Crossbite
The perfect smile doesn’t always come easy. If you’ve been struggling with crossbite teeth, you might often experience discomfort and find eating more challenging than everyone else. If your crossbite causes your jaw to ache painfully, making it difficult to get through the day, you might require orthodontic surgical intervention.

Underbite
Living with an underbite can be frustrating—simple things like eating a sandwich or smiling for a photo may feel uncomfortable or embarrassing. While some inconvenience is normal with misaligned teeth, constant pain and daily disruption shouldn’t be.
Midline Discrepancy
Otherwise known as a misplaced midline, a midline discrepancy is a type of malocclusion concerning the centerline between teeth. Essentially, a patient’s upper teeth (maxillary midline) don’t align with their lower teeth, one or both being off-center. A misplaced midline can’t align with the natural center of a patient’s face, leading to an asymmetrical appearance.

Open Bite
Open bites are roadblocks to the perfect smile that no one wants to deal with. Not only do patients often feel self-conscious of their open bite, but the discomfort it causes can have a real effect on their physical well-being. Over time, an extreme open bite can even harm your jaw joints and ligaments.
Teeth Spacing
Having gaps between your teeth doesn’t just affect your smile. Known medically as diastemas, gaps in teeth can lead to several issues that can impact your daily life. They can affect your confidence, social life, and even oral health. While some people embrace their tooth spacing as a unique feature to be celebrated, others might seek orthodontic or cosmetic treatments to close the gaps.

Teeth Crowding
Teeth crowding, a common type of malocclusion, occurs when there isn’t enough space in the jaw for teeth to grow in and align properly. Overlapping, twisting, or misalignment of teeth is a common issue that can impact a patient’s appearance and oral health.
Crooked Teeth
Crooked teeth are a common issue affecting children and adults worldwide; approximately 56% of the population has crooked teeth. Also known as malocclusions, they impact more than just your appearance. They can cause problems with your health and functionality.

Gum Disease
Plaque buildup is the primary cause of gum disease. As plaque grows, it hardens into tartar, which causes your gums to become irritated and inflamed. This process marks the earliest stage of gum disease – gingivitis.
Tongue Tie
Ankyloglossia, also known as tongue tie, is a condition present at birth that can be either anterior or posterior. The lingual frenulum— the band of tissue connecting the bottom of the tongue to the floor of the mouth— causes an anterior tongue tie by attaching closer to the tip of the tongue. This usually happens when the tissue is shorter and thicker than normal.
