When should my child get braces?
If it seems like your child might be in need of braces, the best time to get them can range between the ages of 7 and 14. How long will I have to wear braces?
The length of time you’ll need braces depends on your unique needs and oral anatomy. A reasonable average is usually about 18 months. Can kids get Invisalign or other clear aligners?

What can’t I eat with braces?
With clear aligners, you’re in the clear! All foods are ok since you’ll take the aligners out to eat. With other traditional styles of braces, you’ll need to avoid two main types of foods: sticky/chewy and hard/crunchy. Common foods to avoid here include gummy and hard candies; nuts; hard pretzels and chips and other difficult-to-eat foods like whole apples and corn on the cob (you can cut these into smaller pieces!).
